Overview:
On World Cinema Day, November 5, 2024, NOS Cinemas will host special screenings of Civil War, voted by IMDb users as the best film in its category. With each ticket purchase, guests receive free popcorn and a drink. The first five online sign-ups per session also get a free double ticket. Screenings will take place at 12 shopping centers, with two sessions per location at 7 PM and 10 PM.

Problem:
NOS Cinemas needed a digital solution to promote and manage special screening sessions on World Cinema Day. The existing process lacked accessibility and didn’t support online sign-ups or efficient ticket handling. The challenge was to create a simple, accessible web interface that could inform users, manage registrations, and support both light and dark modes, all while scaling to 12 shopping centers.
